Randy "Macho Man" Savage

I've been a wrestling fan for twenty-five years, and my earliest memories were of Randy Savage, specifically his feud with George "The Animal" Steele. I'm going to share a few youtube videos of some of my favorite Randy Savage moments.

Meh, couldn't find the one where Savage carries Elizabeth off.

Randy Savage vs Ricky Steamboat, Wrestlemania III
Probably the most influential match in the history of pro-wrestling.

Savage wins first world title, Wrestlemania IV

The End of the Mega-Powers
"Those eyes lust Elizabeth"

Hogan vs Savage, Wrestlemania V

Savage costs Warrior the world title

Savage and Elizabeth reunite, Wrestlemania VII

Savage proposes to Elizabeth

Savage vs Flair, Wrestlemania VIII

Savage wins sixth and final world title, 1998

Savage vs Dennis Rodman, Road Wild 1999
Savage's last major match

Savage's last WCW appearance, May 2000

  3. Thanks for sharing all these clips - when I was a kid (from around 6 months to 6 years), I was OBSESSED with wrestling! My mom started it by laying me in front of the TV - this is back in the day, & it was one of the behemoth wooden deals, so it was like I was right there in the ring! So many cute pictures of me flailing around imitating wrestlers. lol

Anyway, although I don't remember that, I have a lot of memories of awesome matches.

    Rest in piece, Randy!

  4. R.I.P. mister Savage, well we know that wasn't really his name. At least he didn't have to experience the end of days.
